Through a process of 'adsorption', whereby particles are attracted and adhere to the surface, the pores cleanse the environment by adsorbing gases from the atmosphere, electromagnetic waves and radio frequencies as well as chlorine and heavy metals from water. Radiation is also weakened as it passes through Binchotan. Binchotan creates 'good energy' by giving off negative ions. Negative ions are atoms that carry a negative electric charge which attracts positive ions in the air, such as carbon dioxide molecules. It is incredibly easy to prepare and use. Leave it for a few hours or overnight for best results. Not only is it great for improving
drinking water quality, it’s also a more friendly alternative to your pocket. This natural alkaliser can be used for around three months before needing to be replaced, making it significantly cost-effective! It can be boiled in water every two to three weeks to remove the absorbed chemicals and refresh the sticks. Once you’ve maxed out its usage for water, you can recycle it as an indoor air purifier, closet or fridge deodorizer, or as soil fertilizer. you can break it up and put it in your house plants, it will add nutrients to the soil that will help the plant to grow. Binchotan is also a very good moisture absorbent, and can help absorb humidity in the air if placed in a wardrobe.

HOW TO USE BINCHOTAN WATER PURIFIER STICKS

  • We recommended to use glass or stainless steel jars or bottles.
  • Before using, rinse the charcoal sticks under running water and gently brush to remove excess ash.
  • Bring a pot of water to boiling point, add the charcoal sticks to the water and allow to boil for 15 minutes in total changing the water twice. The charcoal is now ready to use!
  • Fill the beaker with drinking tap water & put the binchotan stick into it.
  • Then, enjoy great tasting water!
  • Please do not use with flavored cordials, fruit infusions or tea.
  • Occasionally, you will notice tiny particles of the charcoal in the water, but do not be alarmed as it will do you no harm if you swallow them (active charcoal tablets are prescribed to treat diarrhoea, digestion and flatulence).
